Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026.
The service
DedupeCSV is an online tool that finds and merges duplicate rows in CSV and spreadsheet files, with review tools and audit exports. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but deduplication involves judgment calls: you are responsible for reviewing suggested clusters before using the cleaned output, especially before importing it into other systems.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. One account per person or team; do not share credentials outside your team.
Plans and limits
Each plan has file-count, row-count and feature limits, enforced on our servers and described on the pricing page. Attempting to bypass limits (for example by splitting one list across many free accounts) is a violation of these terms.
Your data
You keep all rights to the files you process. You grant us only the permission needed to process, store (for up to 24 hours), and return your results, as described in the privacy policy. Do not submit files you do not have the right to process.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to process stolen data, or to attack the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Always keep your original file — the audit export exists so any merge can be checked and reversed by hand.
Changes
We may update these terms and the service; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
